You provide a high quality, cost effective service within the Endoscopy department; maintaining the highest standard of care and safety for patients, visitors and staff. You will be competent in all aspects of clinical practice/ endoscopy techniques and procedures within the Endoscopy Department.
You will provide clinical and managerial support to the Day Surgery & Endoscopy Manager in the development and implementation of high quality care protocols to provide a highly effective fast track service for all Endoscopy procedures. Working towards developing and maintaining a cohesive multidisciplinary team.

What you'll be doing
Your sound clinical and Infection control knowledge combined with your ability to solve problems and think both literally and laterally will enable you to teach and train others in your team.  We encourage sharing of best practice across our site to develop your skills and take advantage of our excellent clinical leadership knowledge. 

Maintain and monitor Joint Advisory Group (JAG) requirements and guidelines
Competent in giving clinical explanations to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures and to perform a thorough pre assessment via telephone and face to face consultations
Be able to work as a team alongside nursing, axillary and medical staff.
Ensure all documentation is complete according to company policy and procedure incorporating national guidance.
Be responsible for the day to day management of the endoscopy suite and to monitor staff performance and clinical outcomes  

What we’ll look for in you
You will have:
NMC Registered Nurse Part 1
Relevant experience as an Endoscopy Registered Nurse
Demonstrates knowledge of change management.
Organisational and management skills within a team.From ear, nose and throat treatments, to foot and ankle surgery, here at Practice Plus Group, the secondary care we provide is second to none.
