Powertrain NVH Development Engineer

Are you a skilled Powertrain NVH Development Engineer with a passion for advancing automotive technology in electrified and conventional vehicles?
We are seeking an engineer to play a crucial role in supporting the Start of Production (SOP) projects. You will be integral in developing, testing, and optimising the NVH performance of powertrains for future vehicle programs.
Based in a dynamic engineering environment, you will have the opportunity to work across diverse projects, including cutting-edge electrified powertrains and virtualised development. Your responsibilities as a Powertrain NVH Development Engineer:
* Lead vehicle and rig testing processes from defining requirements and instrumentation to conducting data analysis and compiling reports.
* Specify technical and timing requirements for testing, ensuring alignment with project goals.
* Oversee and direct testing setups at facilities to meet stringent testing requirements.
* Provide technical direction to testing facilities and liaise with other stakeholders to facilitate efficient testing operations.
* Process and analyse test data to inform engineering decisions and recommendations.
* Communicate regularly with all project stakeholders, providing updates and insights on project and testing status.
Your current experience which will help you as a Powertrain NVH Development Engineer:
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or a related engineering field, with a minimum grade of 2:1.
* Proven experience in powertrain NVH development and testing.
* Skilled in issue identification, troubleshooting, and NVH data processing.
* Exceptional analytical abilities, capable of synthesizing complex technical data into clear, actionable recommendations.
* Independent and self-motivated, capable of working under minimal supervision.
* Strong communication skills, able to effectively convey technical information in both written and verbal forms.
