Do you have purchase ledger experience? Are you looking for a new role? My client, established in the 1960’s is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join its small but friendly team. With a customer base covering the whole of the UK, this is an exciting role for someone who is looking to develop their career within a finance department.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in an Accounts department – ideally purchase ledger.
* Professional and confident telephone manner
* Microsoft Business Central, Navision or similar ERP system
* Good eye for detail
* Experience of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
* Own transport due to location
Duties and responsibilities
* Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately onto the ERP system
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Payment of suppliers using BACS and some cheque payments
* Maintain supplier records on the ERP System
* File all documents accurately.
* Assist with supplier and colleague’s queries.
