Recruitment Consultant

Are you an experienced Recruitment Consultant or Sales Professional with a successful track record of delivering first-class service? If this sounds like you, Pertemps Wolverhampton are looking for an ambitious, sales focussed Recruitment Consultant to join their growing team.

A day in the life of a recruitment consultant is exciting, challenging and rewarding, from placing a candidate into their dream role to building strong relationships with client companies to discuss how Pertemps can support their staffing needs, you’ll find that no two days are the same! In the position of Recruitment Consultant, you'll receive unparalleled support and training from our dedicated 16-week Talent Development Programme, with continued professional development opportunities along the way – such as gaining your MREC qualification to broaden your recruitment knowledge base!
 
The role:
You will be working within our Wolverhampton branch, alongside a team of highly skilled recruitment professionals. The role will involve but is not limited to:

Business development calls
Client meetings – Face to face and Virtual
Sourcing and screening candidates for commercial permanent vacancies
Understanding candidates career aspirations and building relationships
Advertising roles and pro-actively searching for candidates via job boards and social media
Carrying out competency-based interviews
Bringing on new clients and nurturing and maintaining existing client relationships
Requirements:

Due to the location, a full driver’s licence and own transport is essential (Free parking provided)
Previous experience in a Sales or Recruitment role is essential
Office 365 experience
Strong communication skills
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise work effectively
Self-motivated and able to work independently when needed
A positive, can-do attitude with a desire to succeed

Competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)
Uncapped commission scheme with the ability to earn up to 30% on billings
