Logical Personnel Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering company.
We require a Cost Controller in Red Car.
Purpose of the role:
The core purpose of the role is to analyse work carried out, gather all costs and ensure that chargeable work is appropriately approved by the customers and invoiced in accordance with the Contracts and/or Schedule of Rates and quotations.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Manage the Estimates and Quotations log
* Compile and Issue quotations to Customers for service work
* Report on Profit per customers when creating Customer Invoices
* Manage the Customer Application for Payment Process
* Provide Customers and Operations with updates on costs and work in progress
* Process Sub Contractors costs and ensure they are included within Customer costs
* Investigate and resolve customer queries
* Create Work Orders for Operations on receipt of Customer Purchase Orders
Skills and Knowledge required:
* Organisational Skills
* Good communication at all l
* Numeracy and literacy
* Use of ERP system, IFS preferable
* Microsoft Excel
* Analytical skills
* Customer focused
Working Conditions:
* Office based role
* Hours are 8am – 4pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break (37.5 hours per week)
* Internal interactions - Operations Managers, Supervisors, Procurement, Finance, Stores
* External interactions – Customers
