Salary: up to £30k DOE

Monday-Friday

Location: Commutable from Grimsby, Immingham and Scunthorpe

Grafton Recruitment is working with an established Shipping and Logistics company in the appointment of a permanent Export Operator. Working within a busy multifunctional team, the successful candidate's primary focus will be providing quotations and producing all documentation within the exportation department.

The Role:

Some of your responsibilities as an Export Specialist are listed below:

Be the first point of contact for customers' queries.
Be responsible for the all aspects of full load export operations including oncall rota.
Take bookings and create in system.
Liaise with transport planners and shipping lines.
Completing Export Customs Clearances and Export Transit Documentation
Address inquiries promptly and professionally.
Issue sales invoices to customers as agreed, check, and pass on purchase invoices.The Candidate:

The ideal Export Specialist:

Proven experience (min 3 years) in a similar role.
Customer focused with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
Strong problem solving skills and logical approach.
Committed approach to your work with an excellent eye for detail.
Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
Organised with ability to prioritise a busy workload.
Great Computer skills.
A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team.
