Headley Professional have a new vacancy available with a bespoke manufacturing business seeking an experienced Technical Designer.
The business is well established and prides itself on the range of projects it undertakes, and the quality of work it produces. No 2 jobs ever the same.
The company is a bespoke manufacturer of joinery items for the retail and creative sector.
The working environment is fast paced, challenging and ultimately rewarding.
Job responsibilities:
* Analysing project briefs to understand client requirements, and devising design solutions.
* Production of models, setting out drawings, cutting lists etc
* Production of BOMs
* Selection of materials appropriate to job
* Working with sub-contract partners for outsourced manufacture
About you:
* Experienced CAD / Technical Designer, experience working in bespoke joinery.
* Solidworks experience preferred
* SWood experience a nice to have, training can be provided on this.
* Able to work to strict deadlines
* Credible dealing with clients
* Keen eye for detail
* Good attitude to work, committed and dedicated
