The Recruitment Crowd have partnered with a niche Asset Care company who are looking to expand their teams due to growth & success.

This role is extremely customer focused and will suit someone who can liaise with a variety of people, and essentially ‘be your own boss’, including some working away from home, as & when needed.

As a Project Engineer, you will be working in a group of 2-5 people when out on sites but have the option to work from home. As a whole, the focus is on the physical mechanisms, the development of maintenance practice and provide support to the people who are practicing it. This includes the development of Asset Care Packages and Preventative Maintenance Standards to improve equipment life cycles.

Duties include:

* Traveling across various sites attending ‘blue chip client’ & SME sites

* Working alongside head of engineering, Engineers, Operatives

* Transferring Condition Based Maintenance activity outputs into relevant information to create an appropriate response plan; data collection, report writing including critical and breakdowns

* Provide training to maintenance technicians in all applicable condition monitoring techniques

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of condition monitoring techniques and communicate where necessary.

* Creating customer asset care packages

The ideal candidate:

Background in Maintenance Engineering OR Continuous Improvement

PC Literate – proficient with Excel!

Solid knowledge of FMCG/Food manufacturing equipment

Experience in delivering maintenance improvement programmes.

Ability to organise and monitor work

Self driven – you will be working from home when not on sites

Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical colleagues.

Monday – Friday – no weekends!

40 hours per week – overtime available

Site travel – all expenses paid
