Senior Tax Manager

A dynamic, highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants based in York, are recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to build your team and influence the direction of Tax accounting provision for the practice.

Reporting into the partners, the Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for: 

Management of the tax team, responsible for developing the department
Managing and growing a portfolio of clients
Undertake tax planning work for companies and individuals in relation to income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax 
Attracting new clients and contributing to the success of the firm 
Deal with more complex tax cases related to residency, R&D, remuneration planning and capital gains tax 
Provide advice and tax updates, as well as training and mentoring for your team 
Research more complex tax planning issues including EIS, EMI, share schemes, reorganisations, ERS etc.To be successful in this Senior Tax Manager role, you must:

Be ICAEW ACA CTA qualified
Confident advising clients on tax matters
Have a proven record as a team leader and enjoy managing and developing a team
