Job Description
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Seniors-Production Support in Jacksonville, FL to provide support for FIS Investment Accounting Manager (IAM) product. Oversee evolution of the technologies used within this flagship product used by 60+ customers. Understand the business requirements behind technology frameworks including Reporting Toolkit, Report Distribution, Excel Executor, Process Manager Framework, Capital Gains Tax Calculation, Exception Manage Serve as a technical coordinator with foreign affiliate team members in Pune, India. Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and client representatives. Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and software. Train and communicate with clients on systems application. Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. Interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and necessary modifications. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Train and communicate with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application. Develop and executing project plans, budgets, and schedules and for documenting work and results. Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and external audiences.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Engineering or a related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: utilizing agile software development methodology to provide production support; attending SCRUM meetings/standups to further the releases from development to delivery for issues prioritized on KANBAN boards; utilizing any combination of Agile Management Tools including
Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Github, Maven, Jenkins and Artifactory; implementing modern engineering practices including requirement gathering, developing and using models and analyzing and interpreting data; utilizing mathematics and computational models to ensure business requirements are met; performing code reviews in product development and support lifecycle ; performing n-tiered application development methodology utilizing technical skills with J2EE, Spring, .NET and Hibernate on the backend to JQuery, Angular, TypeScript, CSS3 on the frontend; and engaging with stakeholders to ensure that deliverables and scope of delivery are communicated.
