Oracle DBA - (Onsite)

Job Description
Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Oracle DBA for one of our clients.
Role: Oracle DBA
Location: Plano TX (Onsite with Rotational Shifts)
Duration: Long term
  
Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products.
Design and implement database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
Monitor and optimize database performance, including tuning queries, indexing, and system configuration.
Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data.
Manage database users, roles, permissions, and privileges.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and data corruption.
Coordinate with development teams to deploy database schema changes and application releases.
Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as patching, upgrades, and capacity planning.
Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Provide on-call support and participate in a rotating schedule for after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in a production environment.
Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, features, and functionality.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Solid understanding of database security principles and best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
