Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer reports to the Director of Maintenance and takes direction from the Production Manager or Senior Maintenance Engineer.  The Engineer is responsible for and may work on a variety of aircraft types, inspecting, monitoring, maintaining and servicing the components, systems, controls and devices to ensure the aircraft operates safely.
Inspecting parts to ensure they are in proper working order;
Assisting with training of junior level employees (Apprentices);
Performing routine maintenance tasks such as changing oil and cleaning filters;
Conducting and recording routine and special inspections as required by regulations;
Responsible for repairing, replacing, assembling and installing essential aircraft parts;
Ensuring replacement components are ordered and on hand to keep aircraft serviceable;
Follows maintenance and repair schedule to keep aircraft available for  required hours;
Using logbooks and other reports to track component times for servicing requirements and life span of aircraft parts;
Valid passport an asset 
Valid driver’s license;
Graduate of a recognized Engineer Program;
