Woodhaven an adult substance use disorders treatment program has immediate openings for Counselor Assistants to join our team. In this role, you work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure clients are receiving the best care as the overcome the obstacles that have led to their addictions. As a Counselor Assistant, you will provide services in a group setting to our clients. Since Woodhaven utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach, Counselor Assistants have time in their schedule to shadow our counselors to learn skills need to help you advance in your career.
Woodhaven was founded 10 years ago to provide a safe place for individuals to recover. Divided into phases, our program offers withdrawal management and a partial hospitalization housing program. Individuals who complete our program leave free of all addictive substances. Woodhaven is proud to be one of the few programs offering this opportunity to those we treat and serve.
Many of our Counselor Assistants move into Counselor-in-Training roles. At the completion of our in-house program and the employee's education, the employee will have the potential to transition into a counselor role.
We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities.
Requirements
Active CDCA in the State of Ohio
Must have a steady work history, above average attendance record, work well in group or autonomous settings and have a desire to work with individuals overcoming their addictions. .
