We are now recruiting for an experienced Stakeholder Manager to work in our Highways Division on a full-time permanent basis, focusing on our works on the Strategic Network for National Highways. Due to the job role, there may be a need to work occasional evenings. This role will be working between our offices and client offices, so flexibility is key.
The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the success of projects, initiatives, and the overall reputation of the company.
Main Duties:
* Identify and categorise key stakeholders relevant to the organisation and its projects and implement strategies to engage the stakeholders effectively, understanding their expectations and concerns.
* Foster open and transparent communication channels to keep stakeholders informed about project developments, changes, and outcomes.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
* Identify potential conflicts or issues with stakeholders and work to resolve them in a timely and constructive manner.
* Conduct thorough stakeholder analysis to assess their influence, interests, and potential impact on projects.
* Create clear and effective communication plans tailored to different stakeholder groups, deliver regular updates, reports, and presentations.
* Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address potential issues that may affect the company's reputation.
* Coordinate with internal teams to provide timely and accurate information during crises or emergencies.
* Collaborate with project teams and leadership to integrate stakeholder considerations into project planning and decision-making processes.
Are you the person we are looking for?
You will have a strong background in communications and engagement, coupled with extensive stakeholder experience and can demonstrate how you have supported the delivery of business priorities, proactively managed reputational issues, delivered stakeholder engagement plans and used insight to help shape those plans.
You will be a strong communicator and collaborator who is highly organised who can record, report and undertake ongoing evaluation of activities and impact. You will be a strategic thinker with a result driven mindset in the delivery of this critical role within our Highways Division.
The ideal candidate will be able to cope well under pressure, be good at multitasking and have excellent time management skills. Must also be proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and have a full UK driving licence.
