Fire Safety Officer

We are actively looking for a Fire Safety Officer to join a housing association in the Manchester area on a temporary basis. In return you will receive a 3 month contract, flexible working arrangements, mileage coverage, the opportunity to be extended and the opportunity to be made permanent.

As the Fire Safety Officer you will be:

Providing high level technical knowledge to the fire safety team, to ensure all work is complaint and in line with legislation
Working alongside the Fire Safety manager to support them in managing the fire safety contracts
Supporting the team on developing fire strategies and policies and procedures.
Qualifications / Experience:

Fire Safety background
Residential and social housing experience
NEBOSH Fire or equivalent qualification
In-depth technical knowledge of emergency lighting, fire detection systems and AOV's
An understanding of the legislation around fire safety
Project co-ordination experience
As the Fire Safety Officer, you will receive:

£30 - £35 per hour
3 month contract
Flexible working

The opportunity to be made permanent
