Component Verification Engineer (m/f/d)

Aufgaben
- Capture safety requirements (Toplevel/Hardware/Software) and break-down to lower levels of product architecture
- Perform safety analyses (FMEDA, FTA, DFA) through the development cycle based on state-of-the-art tool environment
- Define effective and efficient safety architectures and safety concepts together with the architects for semiconductor (IC) products
- Prepare for and participate in functional safety audits and assessments
- Guide the project team in implementation of ISO26262 processes and methods
- Prepare and guide the preparation of functional safety related documentation
- Support our customers with regards to functional safety (assumption-on-use fulfillment etc.)
- Contribution to continuous improvement of FUSA related methodologies, tool efficiency and FUSA process
Profil
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Several years of work experience in the field of functional safety and their related standards as well as in the field of semiconductor (IC) development
- Previous experience in an IC Design role (e.g. Analog or Digital Design) is advantageous
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with safety engineering methods like fault simulation, FIT rate calculation, FTA and FMEDA
- Proven background in preparation of safety documentation and customer interaction
- Good background in supporting processes like requirements engineering, configuration and change management or design/verification needs
- Proven expertise in automotive ecosystem and standards like TS16949 or ISO26262
- Profiency in English language (German in addition will be advantageous)
- Proven team player - living the idea of the power of collaborating teams and team members
