Internal Sales Specialist

Job purpose:

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll work closely with customers and key internal stakeholders, providing excellent end-to-end service by offering commercial support to the consumable divisions of the company and beyond.

Main responsibilities:

* Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers with the support of account managers and customer service

* Visiting potential customers for new business alongside account managers

* Making accurate, rapid cost calculations

* Providing customers with quotations and follow up contact.

* Conducting sales calls with potential and existing customers

* Gathering market and customer information

* Representing the company alongside commercial team at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations

* Communicating forthcoming product developments and price changes to customers

* Reviewing your own sales performance, against targets as you gain experience.

* Customer relationship management

* Confidently taking and answering enquiries over the phone and by email

* Communicating effectively with the commercial and customer service teams

* Providing excellent customer service by maintaining efficient and regular contact

* Producing reports for internal use both on personal workload and overall quotes of department.

* Maintaining stock levels and providing reports internally

* Conducting customer visits to audit inventory levels and providing reports internally,

Education:

* Good verbal and written communication in English, English and Maths GCSE

Experience:

* Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a sales administrative role or proven industry related role.

Specific skills:

* Ability to work with minimum supervision and manage own workload.

* Flexibility, willingness to learn and collaborate.

* Excellent and strong communication skills

* Experience in customer service by face to face, email and telephone.

* Proficient user of Microsoft Office and Office365 applications

* Experience in systems and data analysis, able to create reports.

* Excellent Administrative skills
