Goodall Brazier is recruiting for a Chief Operations Officer (COO) is a member of the executive team and provides organizational leadership for all Skilled Nursing, long-term care and acute rehabilitation facilities in Indiana. The COO works as a business partner to the members of the executive team to ensure that the necessary processes and systems are in place and implemented to meet the organization's strategic plan.
The COO is responsible for ensuring that efficient, customer-focused workflows, processes, resident systems and programming are in place. Fostering teamwork, the COO will develop and implement plans for operational systems, processes, and personnel assignments to accommodate the growth and strategic planning objectives of the organization while giving priority to the care of our patients.

Organisation structure & cultural development
Managing and dealing with new acquisitions
Participates in development of the organization's vision, policies and short- and long-term goals and objectives.
Develops, implements, and monitors the operational and fiscal activities of the facilities to include staffing levels, census development activities, customer service, financial and operating goals, and plans and develops systems and procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of operations to meet productivity, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives.
Develop, implement, and achieve annual budget outcomes.
Achieve regulatory compliance goals
Works with the Executive Leadership Team to identify system and facility inefficiencies, and initiates changes or corrective actions as needed.
Builds the capability of the Metron staff (clinical and non-clinical) to deliver by:
Synthesizing market opportunities and entity needs into well-developed, systematically crafted, and thoroughly executed programs and services that are prioritized for resource assignment.
Working collaboratively with the CEO and internal / external key stakeholders to ensure access to the resources required to support requirements.
Assessing current programs and staff against the strategy and make changes in a manner that leverages the capabilities that exist, while upgrading talent and capabilities where appropriate.
Developing a high performing nursing home administrator, Director of Nursing, and NHA team and provides personal and professional development.Required/Desired Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field required.
Master's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration preferred.
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator preferred.
A minimum of five years of progressive health care leadership experience required in Long Term Care, Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation, or inpatient care with emphasis on strategic planning, contract management, program growth, and leadership development.Specific skills, knowledge, and abilities:
The candidate is required to have a valid driver's license and must have ability to drive to multiple facilities during the course of the business day.
Working knowledge of all aspects of the operations of a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Telephone protocol
Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications.
Visibility of work requires attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and effective verbal/written communication skills.
