The role

It will be your responsibility to present our customers with an experience that is befitting of one of the world’s leading betting companies. This can only be achieved by understanding what customers want and having the ability to optimise the site offering in order to create intuitive journeys. Betting might be the core product and where the money is made but, as the site manager, you will recognise that good customer experience goes beyond winning bets. You will also work with the country manager and International Publishing Manager to raise brand awareness, meet defined targets and drive turnover, retention and acquisition across the sites.

What this means to you is working and maintaining close relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. These include, but are not limited to, trading, development, customer services, SEO, marketing, gaming verticals and compliance. By working alongside these departments and teams you will be able to prioritise workload and determine what is most relevant for our customers.

Business as usual practices are most likely to fall into one of three categories. These are:

Content: tasks include writing copy, banner requests, signposting promotions, creating SEO pages, providing services to gaming, arranging betting opportunities based on customer interest

Language: tasks include providing accurate and timely translation across sports and gaming, updating existing copy, reviewing quality and proofreading of translations, providing linguistic support to other departments, ensuring promotions are compliant

Business and product development: pro-actively develop sportsbook offering and product, proposing business and product development initiatives based around core objectives. This includes relevant reporting to senior management based on a set of agreed KPIs.

The qualities

•             Leadership

•             Excellent Swedish language skills (ideally native) and fluent in English

•             Keen interest in sports betting and/or online gaming

•             Proven translation skills and, ideally, experience of managing and co-ordinating external translation agencies

•             Quickly adapts to and embraces new technologies

•             Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

•             Would be beneficial if experienced in using content management systems

•             Self-motivated and able to work from own initiative

•             Excellent communication skills

•             Knowledge and interest in social media and mobile applications

•             Focused on providing the best possible customer service
