As the Cook of the Round Pot (Richmond), duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes.
• Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in the dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
• Monitor food supplies and place orders when needed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menu items efficiently.
• Maintain productivity and efficiency during busy periods.
• Follow portion control guidelines, minimize waste, and assist in menu development.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Culinary certification or a degree from a culinary school is preferred.
• At least 1 year of work experience in food service or restaurant.

Hours of Work: 30-40 hours a week, full-time permanent

Vacation: 10 days per annum

Compensation: $19-20/Hour
