What it’s like to be an Senior Accounting Manager
Centage is looking for a smart and ambitious Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing B2B SaaS company’s mission to bring innovative financial technology to the mid market. You will be part of a culture where teamwork, collaboration, and learning are top priorities alongside winning. Your day will be spent managing full-cycle accounting from monthly close to financial statement reporting to tax compliance, but you will also have an opportunity to engage in special projects. What does the day to day look like
Leadership and Oversight: Lead and oversee all aspects of the accounting functions, including financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, treasury management, and tax compliance.
Financial Statement Management: Prepare, meticulously review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness in accordance with regulatory standards.
Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to all tax regulations and deadlines, facilitating the timely and accurate submission of required filings.
Process Improvement: Evaluate existing policies, systems, and procedures, and proactively suggest and implement enhancements to streamline operations and optimize efficiency.
Internal Controls: Collaborate in maintaining and enhancing internal controls over financial reporting to uphold the integrity of financial data and safeguard assets.
Audit Support: Collaborate seamlessly with internal and external auditors, facilitating audit requests and ensuring compliance with audit standards and requirements.

Requirements
Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting
5-8 years of accounting experience
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
Netsuite (Or similar ERP) experience preferred
Knowledge of GAAP for financial statement reporting
Software industry experience is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Google Workspace a plus
Experience with other financial systems including Salesforce and Avalara is a plus
Prior management experience a plus
CPA designation or in process a plus
