QA Test Lead - Madrid/Glasgow - Remote
A well known provider of healthcare products and services have an exciting new opportunity for an expansion project based in their Madrid office. Due to recent project wins and 2024 looking to be a period of hyper growth this is an exciting position for a QA Test Lead to join an award-winning company.
Reporting to the QE and Testing Manager the ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring on quality and on time delivery of test planning and execution activities in the delivery of Quality Engineering (QE) testing for all new or modified applications/systems.
The role is set as remote but ideally we are looking for those within a commutable distance to Madrid, Spain. This position could be for someone that is already in a Test Lead position or for that person looking to take the next step.
Main Duties:
Establishing and maintaining a structured Test Regime
Oversight of3rd Party supplier provision of following services;
Test Estimation & scope definition / PI & Sprint Planning
Test Planning, schedule & delivery
Test Execution - manual and automated
Ensure quality and completeness of all deliverables provisioned by Test Partner
Analyze and approve key test deliverables including test plans, test scripts, test progress reporting, defect logs/tracker and test completion report
Management of test environment(s) to ensure a sound baseline for assigned testing activity
Ensure Monthly Maintenance and Project Deliverables are achieved to agreed Quality and Timescale parametersRequired Skills:
Fluent in Spanish and English
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least two, typically five or more years' experience in a system quality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Broad knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle with specific expertise of Software Testing
Proven experience of working within both an Agile and Waterfall
