About the role
Title – Power BI
Analyst
Pay Rate – £35,000 to £45,000 per year
Location – Hybrid (2 days in London, based in Fenchurch Street)
Shift Timings – Monday to Friday, (Apply online only), with the requirement to work outside of working hours to suit business need.

BardWood Support services are delighted to announce that we are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Power BI Analyst who can research, create and use relevant Power BI to prevent problems, find hidden value, assist with accelerating business related decisions and improve customer experiences. The right candidate must be confident in their ability to create and use measures that enhance the business's development by looking into trends, patterns, and any areas that are relevant to the business.
Your main responsibilities may include:
Develop and use reports, dashboards, and other tools that highlight trends, patterns, and areas of importance, all through Power BI.
Understand existing Power BI dashboards and work to update, maintain and improve them.
Collaborate with several service areas to understand business needs and develop tools to meet business needs.
Work with our team based across the UK and US to identify and bring together new datasets.
Become a reliable data authority/specialist for a particular business area.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
Bachelor or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant degree.
Experience working in a corporate environment.
At least 3+ years' experience working as a Power BI Analyst or similar role.
Must have intermediate to advanced Power BI skills/experience (including DAX).
Must have intermediate-level SQL skills/experience.
Ability to work against time constraints and provide relevant data analysis within short timeframes.
Be confident in working independently by creating tools that further enhance the business data analysis.
