Are you looking for a career opportunity where you lead business improvements through lean and change management within our supply chain? Look no further, make use of your experience in lean tools and production as you lead optimisation at one of our key UK manufacturing sites to help encourage a world-class supply chain.

The role will primarily be based at our Stourton Dairy in Leeds with occasional travel within the UK and Europe.

What does the role involve?
As a Production Optimisation Business Partner you will work on a range of high impact improvement initiatives, initially at our Stourton Dairy in Leeds. You will be the subject matter expert on site in tools and processes in the Arla Production System, acting as the link between site and the Centre of Excellence.

* Embed the Digital strategy for Supply Chain as part of the Arla Production System (APS) to enable full Productivity potential

* Secure long term sustainability of the improvements, building of a culture of coaching and process confirmation.

* Install a line centric organization to embed a mindset & behaviour based on continuous operational excellence

* Support site leadership team in development of a yearly implementation plan

* Deploy concepts and tools from Arla Production System at site according to site TIP and directives from centre of excellences.

* Establish a CI culture

* Support site in identification and delivery of key initiatives to secure reaching gross savings targets.

* Participate in project activities like roll-outs and boost activities

* Identify continuous improvement talent and host colleagues from other sites

* Assure the leverage of talent within initiatives

Skills

You will bring experience from your previous roles within FMCG. You will ideally have a formal qualification within LEAN manufacturing (such as LEAN Six Sigma or a TPM formal qualification).

The successful candidate will have the ability to act as a true business partner to the Site Directors which will require you to challenge and probe to find the right solution. You bring high energy and drive but also the patience, persistence and empathy that is required to deliver a major transformation project. Further, you have excellent coaching skills and use these successfully to deliver short and long term change.
