Our Client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 professionals with an overall turnover of €1 billion in 2020 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are seeking a Mechanical Lead to be based on a project in Frankfurt.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for –

* Managing Site Safety in conjunction with the Project Team and the Safety Advisor, this will include the set-up, management of and closing out of the safety file

* Managing Site QA, specifically with regards to the Mechanical package including set up, management and close out of file

* Managing of Project Schedule in conjunction with Project team, consulting Engineer and Client requirements

* Managing of all costs associated with the package

* Guiding the junior members of your team, and managing of all day to day site operations

* Managing sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensuring that there is a weekly minute meeting with sub-contractor

* Issuing weekly safety stats & project labour projections

* Attending Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings

* Closing out of all project items all with the support of the site Project Manager

* Ensuring all Sub-contractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference

* Holding weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are been captured and costs issued to the client

* Developing and implementing company procedures within the team

You will need –

* A trade and / or relevant third level qualification

* A minimum of 5 years previous experience in Project Management and a proven record of coordinating and managing large installation projects

* Experience dealing with Industrial Relations issues and a knowledge of Health & Safety

* To be experienced in design and build

* A good technical knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical systems
