Software Engineer Personalized Computational Genomics BioNTech is seeking a highly talented and motivated computer scientist to support the development of our personalized cancer vaccine platform. With BioNTech you will become a global expert in this exciting cutting edge new field. Responsibility for software engineering of key parts of our personalized cancer vaccine platform, helping improve our code and adapting it, when needed, to changing clinical requirements. Improve the runtime performance of our infrastructure using advanced synchronization strategies, parallel processing (e.g., MPI) and GPUs. Responsibility for validation and deployment of clinical and academic releases of our software. Help support and improve our cloud-based infrastructure. Support developing, optimizing, and testing innovative bioinformatic methods for our personalized cancer vaccine platform and assist in data analysis. Support joint team projects, become a source of knowledge on all software-related issues for the team and help improve our team's software infrastructure and its documentation. Develop expertise in cancer genomics, help create datasets and analyze them using state-of-the-art bioinformatic tools. Support publishing our research in scientific journals.
