Software Engineer (all genders)

Salary 55.000 - 80.000 EUR per year

Requirements:

Experience in the application of modern software architecture and software design principles in scaled, distributed systems (e.g., Microservices and Clean Coding)
- Expertise in Java Spring Boot is essential, with additional experience in Camunda, Maven, Kafka, OpenShift, and Mulesoft being advantageous
- Excellent knowledge in a modern frontend technology, with a preference for VueJS or the willingness to learn a new frontend technology
- Agile mindset and a good understanding of the "Why" of agile software development
- Additional knowledge of the legacy stack, such as PHP/Laravel, Oracle PL/SQL, relational databases, Java EE, would be beneficial

Responsibilities:

Migrating existing business logic of legacy systems towards scalable microservices, as well as project- and product-based developments using technologies like Java Spring Boot, Camunda, Maven, Kafka, OpenShift, and Mulesoft
- Developing frontends and migrating existing UIs based on technologies such as VueJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Taking responsibility for the high-quality software engineering results of the Product Team by ensuring and driving our common software engineering standards such as Clean Code, Design Patterns, and Testing Principles
- Participating in the agile software development process (Scrum) including continuous improvement
- Cross-team participation and driving solution designs for complex software engineering problems
