The Coca-Cola company is seeking to recruit an Environmental Health & Safety {EH&S} Coordinator. The EH&S Coordinator will be responsible for engaging Coca cola management and plant employees in environmental health and safety activities. The EH&S coordinator will help plan, implement, contribute to and participate in safety at work. The main responsibility will be to help maintain a safe workplace for employees and to ensure that the organization is in compliance OSHA regulations, SG/CT policies/procedures and plant specific EH&S policies and programs. The goal is to support the creation of a healthy and safe workplace culture. The EH&S Coordinator reports to the EH&S Manager on site. The position of EH&S Coordinator performs a variety of functions to assist in maintaining and preserving the health and safety of employees as well as the environment. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of existing systems related to plant safety, environmental control processes, regulatory compliance and training. Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assists in compliance with Hazardous/Universal Waste regulations.

• Provides safety training as required including hazard communications, new employee safety orientation, lead awareness, hearing conservation, hazardous waste, fire extinguisher, CPR and first aid, etc.

• Performs annual industrial hygiene monitoring with direction.

• Assists in implementation and enforcement of company safety policies.

• Completes fire extinguisher, eyewash, and other safety inspections.

• Leads Safety Committee meetings and Ensures compliance with all EHS programs.

• Adheres to the compliance, safety, security and internal guidelines/requirements for the position and company.

• Reads and uses information on Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to determine applicable restrictions and/or warnings required for product sales.

• Coordinates with waste companies to properly track and manage cradle-to-grave liabilities and record-keeping.

• Analyze and prepares detailed reports on sustainability attributes at Coca Cola facilities and presents results to department management.

• Writes procedures and processes as assigned to support the EHS Department Environmental Management System.

• Actively participates on EHS departmental teams and will be a gatekeeper (team leader) for a team.

• Actively expands knowledge in EHS department functions through training and research.

• Fosters the Coca Cola Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfilment of Coca cola’s vision and unity of purpose.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum Four-year technical degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Science or Environmental Science.

• Bachelor’s Degree in EHS and/or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of one year applicable environmental compliance experience required.

• Interpersonal, communication, time management, organizational and analytical skills are required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.

• Presents a professional image when interacting with team members, internal and external.

• Possesses high integrity and ethical standards.

• Minimum two years’ experience with engagement in Safety related industrial workplace activities.

• Proven experience leading project/team.

• Experience in reporting and developing policies.

• Experience in facilitating investigations.

• Excellent communication and advisory skills.

• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
