Job ad: Kitchen help- Chef assistance

We are a small family business that own a restaurant with beach bar , serviced apartments, and rent out  parasols with sun beds  at the sandy beach right in front of our business. 

We still have a job position open as a kitchen help/chef assistant 

Working period : 20.05.-20.10.2025

full time job 

We require a little knowledge in cooking, but not necessarily to have a culinary degree. 

We count more on your experience in working in a restaurant kitchen, or similar, for at least 1-2 Years.

Duties in kitchen :

-keeping stations clean

-knowledge how to wash dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, glasses properly

-keeping the kitchen equipment, stoves, oven, grill and furniture cleaning

-keeping the storage cupboard and kitchen tidy and stocked

-doing inventory, and manage supplies, to check what is missing at the end of the evening and   

 write it on the shopping list

-cleaning the windows and to swipe/mop the floor in kitchen and restaurant area

-preparing simple food properly,

-supporting the Chef to prepare the food on time.

team worker, helpful, & cooperative

Language :

-either Greek or English fluently

Further information :

- the salary will be paid per month  €1300  net

- we offer breakfast and a meal per day (the breakfast you take before you start working and the meal  

  during your working hours)

- we will pay for your, by the Greek Government required, social health insurance during our

  working agreement and

- we will pay the rent for the room that you will share with another staff member, in a Pension, about

  900 m away from our business.

We are only interested in people that are allowed to work in Greece (EU citizens  or if you have documents for a permission to stay and allowance to work in Greece).
