The Ameriforge Quality Department at Industrial Road is in search of a Quality Analyst. This position is responsible for the management and accuracy of QA data reports, including chemistries of metals, mechanical test data, and specification limits.
Responsibilities
Generates MTR reports to include heat treat parameters, harness readings, referencing customer part drawings, and other requirements as defined by customer.
Coordinate and issues testing requests, POs for heat treat and NDE
Reviews, posts, and files (manually or electronically) testing results and vendor reports.
May assist Quality Engineer in reviewing order specifications.
Follows company policies and procedures.
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment.
Proactively participates in the Ameriforge Safety Program
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Basic knowledge of specifications and tolerances.
Familiarity with common MS software.
Must have the ability to work with numbers and produce detailed accurate reports.
Able to communicate ideas persuasively and gain commitment from others.
Ability to identify/diagnose problems and coordinate corrective procedures.
Interpersonal Skills-positive interactions with staff and management.
Pressure/Deadlines-ability to work under pressure of schedules.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Must be able to work independently and/or in a team environment.
Team oriented and the ability to operate with a diverse group
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
2-5 years of experience in related field is required
Physical & Safety Requirements
Standing, bending, sitting, lifting up to 30#, squatting and walking for 8 to 10 hours per day.
Exposure to Production Environment on a daily basis.
Must wear required personal protective equipment when in designated areas
Must comply with and follow all company policies related to Health and Safety
