Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (inclusive of door to door travel time) + £250 standby fee + time and a half pay for on-call duty. £1000 Christmas Bonus.

Job Description: As the Lead Electronic Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' premises. Reporting directly to the relevant position, you will lead the engineering team in maintaining and optimizing electronic security systems. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of our security measures.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the electronic security engineering initiatives within the organization, driving efforts to enhance security posture and resilience.

* Conduct site assessments to identify security risks and requirements, providing recommendations for improvements and optimizations.

* Collaborate with sales and project management teams to develop comprehensive security proposals and project plans.

* Oversee the maintenance, configuration, and testing of security equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

* Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior members of the engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

* Monitor and maintain electronic security systems, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.

* Respond to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and minimize impact.

* Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in electronic security, proactively recommending and implementing improvements to our systems and processes.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a senior electronic security engineering role, with a strong focus on maintaining and optimizing security solutions.

* In-depth knowledge of electronic security principles, practices, and technologies, including access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and alarm systems.

* Hands-on experience with electronic security equipment and software, including maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security requirements and provide effective recommendations.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

* Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, NICET) are highly desirable.

* Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, including standby duties and after-hours support.
