Your new company The company is one of Ireland's leading Retail Financial Institutions. With branches nationwide, they offer savings, mortgage, investment, pension, daily banking and insurance products to customers. The job is based in South Dublin City, in a highly established building society that is an active member of the local community of Dublin 2, bang in the middle of the shops, restaurants.
Your new role As the part time qualified Savings and Investment Adviser you will be the specialist adviser in this area in the branch. Your role will be focused on mastering the knowledge of all the savings and investment products. You will have a daily list of current savers sent to you of maturing accounts and will also create opportunities for reviewing customer's accounts through the branch. As a Financial Adviser you will be assessing the customers circumstances and financial goals as to best advise on products available to them. You must have a consultative approach by nature, as this is a customer facing role, and build relationships at a local level. You will play an active part in the team of the branch as well as growing the business.
What you'll need to succeed You must be fully qualified with the QFA and have kept your cert up to date. You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar banking role - ideally client facing or at least in customer services/sales. A relevant degree would be a plus but not a necessity. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and someone who is keen to develop as a Financial Advisor. It would also be great to have an interest in investments and FS in general.
What you'll get in return Highly flexible work place - either 3 days a week or 5 mornings 10 - 3pm. As well as a very competitive salary base of €35,000 (pro rata) - the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a range of new skills with hands on training and development of up to 3 weeks as well as on the job support. You will work in a small and close-knit office who are supportive and have a great culture. You will have all usual benefits including annual leave, TaxSaver schemes and access to pensions etc.
The branch is in the heart of Dublin City with access routes from all areas, excellent transport links as well as shops, restaurants and gyms. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9 - 6pm with an hour for lunch.
