Siemens Healthineers seeks a Site Environmental, Health and Safety Officer within the Point of Care Diagnostics business line. This full-time EHS Officer role is based in Sudbury and offers a favourable salary and benefits.

This position will be a hands-on resource for employees and support the environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programme at assigned Point of Care Diagnostics locations.

To give you an idea of how this EHS Officer role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

Support and lead the site EHS program under the direction of the Site EHS Leader and act as a backup resource when needed
Engage site employees at all levels, from frontline employees to senior leadership, to improve EHS performance through risk reduction
Perform inspections, assessments, and audits to analyse site compliance with applicable environmental, health and safety regulatory standards at the local and national level
Partner with the site to execute incident management and successfully identify root cause(s) and contributing factors, assign corrective and preventative actions, and track actions to closure to preventRequired Experience:

5 years of EHS experience, with preference given to a manufacturing setting
Familiarity with ISO 14001 and 45001 EHS Management Systems and general knowledge of applicable EHS regulations
Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
Demonstrating critical thinking and recognising potential hazards or compliance issues Our Benefits Include:
