The vacancy is scheduled for immediate employment in our brand new offices in Floriana.
Maintain an organised array of accounting records, keep a record of accounting affairs and assist in running the accounts department effectively and efficiently. The team member will be responsible for administrative duties incl. handling of customer accounts and affairs with third parties and authorities.
Record accurately, and in accordance with the Department policies and procedures, such as accounting records and journal entries.
Reconcile general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Manage petty cash transactions.
Reconcile numerous accounts, promptly researching and correcting any variances.
Assist in maintaining audit schedules, compliance reports, tax returns, financial statements, and similar.
We are looking for:
Accounting Graduate and/or in the process of graduating in ACCA with a min. 1 year of experience in a similar position.
Flair for numbers and understanding of financial statements.
Developed analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
Ability to adhere to deadlines.
Fluency in IT tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Fluency in English, spoken and written.
A good command of Italian, spoken and written. Fluency is considered as a plus.
As a plus:
Experience in financial services sector.
Experience in the area of real estate.
Understanding of asset management and investment planning.
Interest in acquiring additional qualifications.
