Shift Manager / Section Lead
West Bromwich
Circa 47k, plus benefits package
7pm – 7am – Mon - Thurs
When we talk about the leaders we want and are many items spring to conversation but ultimately the ability to create the best working environments possible are always high on the best managers agenda.
I am working with a business that is redefining their culture & manufacturing processes & we are looking for a leader to lead this journey for the night shift operation.
The factory is a mixture of highly automated & new plant alongside older pieces of plant. Implementation & development of SIC, OEE, SMED systems. Part of your remit will be to embed new thinking, techniques & find new efficiencies across usage.
Most important factor will always be the people.
Running the shift as the 2nd in command working closely with the Manufacturing Manager.
Together you’ll take command of operations, process & packing areas.
Your role is to create & maintain a great culture, results & always be finding improvements.

Essential requirements: -
Proven Operational Management experience within a manufacturing environment – management of Supervisors, line leaders & operatives
Passionate about Process/CI
Proven in people development skills & knowledge
Food/FMCG Industry experience
