Assistant Cost Controller

We are looking for an Assistant Cost Controller to join team supporting projects in West London.

Key areas of activity will include:

The procurement process, including requests, orders, delivery, invoicing and payment

Discrepancy Management in SAP

Supporting the Cost Controller in the production of quarterly accrual figures for finance

Utility costs, allowances and expense claims

Experience 

Accounting skills – Broad understanding of technical issues and ability to keep up to date with new accounting rules and regulations

Good knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Powerpoint

Thorough attention to detail

Organisation skills (well organised) – ability to plan, organise and maintain clear audit trail in information systems
Ability to work as part of a Team and on one’s own

Ability to work independently and be pro active

Plan and prioritise own work to meet deadlines

Internal control knowledge – Secure the administrative and cash process 

Interpersonal skills – Team working, conflict management and influencing / negotiation
