Full-time Chef

Meeting Point Hotel Management (Malta) Ltd. forms part of the FTI Group which is based in Germany. Since we accommodate a large number of guests and hotel visitors, the company requires a Chef to join our team in a Full-Time basis.

Duties include, but will not be limited to:

  • Ensuring highest possible standards of hygiene and that HACCP and Occupational Health and Safety procedures are enforced;
  • Ensuring that food is prepared, cooked and presented to very high standars;
  • To always use the exact recipe and work method within the specific food costs;
  • Ensuring efficient area, equioment and operating inventory upkeep;
  • Controlling portion sizes, menu and recipe cost and standardization

The selected candidate must be:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry or Culinary Arts
  • In dept knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Possess multi-tasking, prioritizing and efficient time-management abilities;
  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a high level of commitment
