About the Role
LifeMD is looking for an experienced SEM expert to manage all pay-per-click (PPC) marketing activities. Our SEM Manager will oversee all paid search campaigns on marketing engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing. You will effectively manage the paid search budget and work with the Marketing team to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and customers. You will report to the CAO and provide reports of campaign and overall channel performance, and provide as well as implement recommendations for optimizations. Able to lead a small team as well as work in a collaborative team setting, with strong problem solving and time-management skills. Experience with CRO, A/B testing, ad extensions, keyword expansion, youtube, display, and up-to-date search engine best practices.
Responsibilities
Own, execute, and launch all SEM campaigns for the following (but not limited to) channels:
Google YouTube
Provide budget recommendations and revenue projections for channels managed
Strategize, execute, and analyze test plans, including geo tests and incrementality tests
Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
Continually expand and optimize paid keyword discovery
Conduct market research on keywords, consumer trends, and competing brands
Monitoring SEM analytics such as redirects, click rates, and customer acquisition rates
Generating performance reports and analytics for presentation and review
Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in search trends and PPC strategies
Requirements
4-5+ years of Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
Capable of successfully leading multiple accounts and their strategies
Ability to perform day-to-day campaign execution
Understanding of product feeds and Google Merchant Center, experience with feed management platforms (i.e. GoDataFeed, Feedonomics) a plus
Ideally, you have some experience beyond just the two major search engines – we often work with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Criteo, etc…
Comprehensive data analysis and problem solving skills; able to draw conclusions and with guidance, you are able to devise strategic recommendations based on findings
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Additional SEM software skills a plus (e.g. Tableau, Hitwise, etc.)
Self starter - always looking for room to improve/learn as well as the ability to work independently and autonomously
