And we need people like you to make it happen.Job SummaryWe are looking for a people leader,â who will deliver technical and operational objectives through management of cheese technologists with high degree of competence and technical knowledge of the cheese catagory portfolio and products we produce on our portfolio. The position can be based within Poland or the Netherlands. You will be travelling up to 25% of your time to our offices or customer sites. What you will doAs a Manager - Line Solution Cheese you will:
  • Manage and further develop a highly skilled and performing team of Cheese Technologists and line solution leads.
  • Drive short term resources and competence planning to match the business needs.
  • Drive long term recourses and competence planning to match the business strategy.
  • Manage across countries, understanding and dealing with cultural differences. Align ways of working and use of common practises continuesly.
  • Defines standards under which the team operates and work with other teams, across departments and organizations to align way of working.
  • Maintain and create capability mapping of team and organisation and tailor team needs towards needs of the business (focus area, growth, workload) and stakeholders (Customers, Commercial projects,Issue resolution, Services, Sales).
  • Implement operational strategy to increase the efficiency of the team and other teams.
  • Participate in issue resolution, sales, commercial project, quality and development project reviews to ensure that the team covers all areas of the business and set the right priorities.
  • Drive assigned global initiatives set by the management team.
  • Create business updates from cheese technology and line solution perspective.
  • Work together with Production, supply management, engineering, pre projects, sales and project management to ensure performance effectiveness in projects and propose initiatives to increase efficiency and optimize product performance across business together with other team leaders.
  • Identify organizational gaps and propose potential solutions.
We believe you have
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience knowledge of Tetra Pak standards, products, portfolio and application.
  • Strong skills in Collaboration, conflict management, team management, interpersonal and negotiation.
  • Certifications in Six Sigma, Problem Solving Methodology and PNP are a plus.
  • Proficiency in English is key.
  • Experience in the food industry, dairy industry
  • Understand cultural differences is a plus.
  • Knowing the cheese industry and customer relationships is a plus.
  • Knowing cheese technology and dairy science is a plus.
