Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Ranging from £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE)

PLC Software Engineer Responsibilities:
Utilizing PLC software to design, develop, program, and test robust PLC systems.
Creating and interpreting logic and flow diagrams to facilitate program design, simulation, and testing.
Conducting system monitoring, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operational functionality.
Specifying, designing, and building programs tailored to equipment specifications.
Selecting, configuring, and commissioning automation devices on-site for enhanced automation and control.
Adapting and modifying existing programs to meet evolving customer requirements.
Offering expert guidance to Field Service Engineers in PLC programming, repair, installation, and maintenance.
Providing technical support to enhance process development and improvement initiatives.
Conducting on-site commissioning of electrical and electronic equipment for optimal performance.

What We're Seeking:
Essential:
Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification, coupled with hands-on experience in system software engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of proven expertise in PLC Programming.
Possession of a valid driving license.Desired:
Prior experience within the water/wastewater Industry is highly valued.
Familiarity with electrical control panels is advantageous.
Previous exposure to Automation & Process Control Equipment would be beneficial.
