Tasks

Your Role:

As a FAE, you will be tasked with assisting customers in resolving Pre & after-sales technical issues including product usage and hardware/software related topics.

You will also be expected to coordinate internal resources and cross-functional team communication in the process of finding needed solutions/information for Customers' technical inquiries.

In turn you will also provide customer feedback to Product Management and Marketing Teams to enhance future product development and promotion strategies.

Therefore, a problem-solving mindset, on-site customer support abilities, technical presentation/communication skills will enable you to be successful in the FAE role.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop hands-on experience with GIGABYTE Enterprise products, with support from Taiwan HQ teams (BIOS & Firmware & Drivers, Mechanical, Quality Assurance, Design & Validation, Production, Product Management).
  2. Collaborate with Taiwan HQ and local FAE team to identify root causes of reported technical issues.
  3. Provide technical presentation/explanation to Customers for reported technical issues and report on follow-up progress of implemented resolution.
  4. Configure and set up test server systems to reconstruct/simulate reported technical issues; configure and set up test server systems for remote access by Customers for Proof-of-Concept (PoC).
  5. Carry out on-site visits at Customers' facilities to understand Customers' operations and enable solution integration and issue resolution.
  6. Support business Events when necessary. You will teamwork with EMEA local Customers and Partners, EMEA Sales Team and Marketing Team.

 

Requirements

  • Fluency in English speaking is required.
  • Fluency in a 2nd European language is highly preferred (German, French, Dutch or Spanish).
  • Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or related engineering field like Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.
  • MBO level with proven working experience in related field is also welcome.
  • Background & experience with PC or server architecture.
  • Skills for Ansible/Redfish/software system diagnostics is preferred.
  • Experience with Linux OS required.
  • Skills of leading technical investigations with engineers of multiple disciplines
  • Ability to excel both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proactive attitude and abilities to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Regular travel is required for on-site customer support.
