For one of the biggest chemical trading companies worldwide the Sales Manager will maintain and expand existing business in Europe. Identify business opportunities with the sale of Chlorparaffins, Organo phosphites and additive products. Client Details My client is the holding company with operating business worldwide in Chemicals, Plastics and related products. Headquarter in the US and expanding in Europe in a variety of markets. Description Primary activity for the function holder will be the sale of Chlorparaffins, Organo Phosphites and Plastic Additives products. Potential candidates may work on a full time or part time basis either from a home office or our offices in Amsterdam. Maintain and grow existing business and customer base. Identify (new) business opportunities and develop corresponding strategic plans to maximise accordingly. Responsible for business, market and product development in the region. Analyse and interpret competitive activities and (new) products and/or applications. Frequent domestic and international travel is required. Represent my client at external meetings, conferences, exhibitions and seminars to access new opportunities and develop and maintain a sound external network. Profile Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or demonstrated comparable experience and expertise; MBA would be a plus. Excellent command both writing and speaking of the English language; mastering other languages preferably German and/or French is a definite plus. Minimum 5 years' experience in the chemical industry built in working in the international chemical business preferably with a large multinational in commercial and/or commercial-technical roles.
