Field Application Engineer- Battery storage systems

Our client is a global leader in power electronics and are a company who are continuously growing throughout Europe. They cover seven products areas across renewable energy, power supply, networking, and automation electronics. They are looking for an eager and motivated Field Application Engineer whose focus will be to support on applications with battery storage systems and power conditioning systems in commercial, industrial and Electric Vehicle charging applications.
The Field Application Engineer will support the Energy Infrastructure team and help support growth in Europe. This is an amazing role where you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment working alongside an enthusiastic team in London. There is the possibility for potential travel to either Germany, Slovakia, or their European headquarters in the Netherlands.
What you will be doing as the Field Application Engineer?
-Delivering technical support to the sales and product marketing in a timely manner.
-Supporting the proposal preparation process
-Hold planning, installation, and service trainings.
-Contribute to identifying new market opportunities
-Occasionally on-site technical support at the customer site for complex technical challenges
-Support relationship management and service delivery to business customers in Europe
-Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our company's product lines
What you will bring?
-Ideally a Bachelors/master's in electrical engineering
-3-5 years of experience with battery storage systems or power conditioning systems is desirable
-Fluent in English (spoken and written) is essential
-Self-management of daily tasks with the ability to work independently as well as part of an international team.
-Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
-Admirable Technical Knowledge related to integration of different systems and understanding of Battery storage systems
-Excellent customer focus, effective communication, and interpersonal skills
-Installation experience/certificate to work in low voltage grid
-Flexibility to travel (around 40-50% of the time)
-Valid driver's license
