Licensing Manager

Responsible for developing and implementing licensing strategies for the company, involving identifying potential licensing opportunities and determining which intellectual properties should be licensed.
Ensure that all licensing activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay updated on changes in intellectual property laws and licensing practices.
Negotiate license agreements with potential licensees. Ensure that the agreements include necessary terms and conditions to protect the company's interests.
Involved in managing the company's intellectual property portfolio, including maintaining and protecting trademarks, patents, copyrights, and other intellectual property assets.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential licensing opportunities and trends. Assess market demand, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform licensing strategies..
Maintain relationships with licensees, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Address any concerns or requests from licensees and work to build mutually beneficial partnerships.
Responsible for analyzing the financial aspects of licensing agreements, including assessing the potential revenue and profitability of licensing opportunities and tracking financial performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Marketing or Editing.
Familliar with the operation of Wattpad, Radish and Webtoon.
Strong communication skills.
Comprehensive understanding of online reading or publishing industry.
Strong interest in reading novels (K-dramas).
Passion for working in the content related field and past experience would be an asset.
Ability to work well under pressure and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Strong passion to learn and gain experience in the gaming industry.
Ability to work in fast pace start up environment.
