With headquarters in Japan, they design and manufacture a wide array of more than 500 machine vision lenses, as well as a range of high-end zoom lenses for security and surveillance applications. Additionally, the client develops lighting for machine vision applications under the VAL brand. The client has a presence around the world and has its main sales and support office for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) market in Amsterdam. In Amsterdam they are working with an international and ambitious team to help the company forward. For this team, they are looking for a Logistics Employee to help them grow. Main tasks Creating, and packing shipments; Inventory management; Tracking and monitoring incoming shipments; Schedule pickups through various couriers as directed; Maintain shipping supplies. Profile Previous experience in a similar role preferred; Knowledge of import/export advantageous; High level of accuracy and organization; Problem solving and effective communication; Strong character; Fluent in English; Punctual; Team player; Willing to do physical tasks; Available for 24 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday); Flexible, no 9-5 mentality.
