Amazing role for a Health and Safety Officer to join a dynamic contractor who are construction specialists who are currently working on one of their largest projects to date in the Netherlands on a lucrative Data Centre project, whilst holding a vital role and progressing up the business.

They are now looking for a skilled Health and Safety Manager to join the business and implement new strategies and procedures whilst ensuring best practice is being adhered to.

This is a great opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager or Officer with a construction background to join a well-established contractor where there is opportunity to grow long term and establish a successful career, working on a variety of projects within the construction industry and hold a pivotal role within the business.

In this role you will lead the Health and Safety aspect of projects. You will be tasked with conducting site audits, creating Health and safety procedures throughout the company, writing up reports, attending meeting with management to discuss health and safety matters , assisting site teams with health and safety training and dealing with any health and safety related issues on sites, RAMS and more.

The ideal candidate will have good health and safety knowledge with previous experience in the construction sector and hold their NEBOSH certificate. You will head up the Health and Safety department in the company and work closely with Site teams and Directors. It is essential to have the right to work in the EU, or hold EU Citizenship.

The person:

Must have the right to work in the EU - Hold an EU member state passport
Previous experience in a Health and Safety role - within any sector
