The Transport Management Coordinator is the liaison between UPS SCS Customers and Contract Management at one side, and our Customer’s Carriers at the other side. At the same time develops, implements new and analyzes existing projects on operational, commercial and financial aspects of the logistics requirements of UPS LLP customers. Your major responsibilities as TM Coordinator are to keep track and improve transport related KPIs, supporting the transport office team on day to day issue resolution and offering structural solutions to them, identify new transport solutions and provide towards customers compelling offers, keep track of financial transport/logistics revenue and cost developments and act upon these, running independently transport service and financial analysis. What do you do on an average day? Leads, input and attendance to periodical carrier and customer business reviews. Initiate, lead or contribute to transportation projects. Investigate operational flows of the total Supply Chain. Recommend changes and improvements for optimization. You also plan, monitor and coordinate the implementation activities. Analyze processes, identify opportunities, conduct feasibility study, recommend new ways to increase effectiveness, efficiency and enhanced customer experience. Assist in further developments in liaison with various other departments (sales, operations, account management). Reporting progress. What do we expect of you? Education: Preferably, BA/Master in Transportation/Logistics. Experience: Relevant working experience with Supply Chain Logistics and project management, proven track record in project implementation, know-how of process design, information flow and TM / WM systems. Competencies: Strong analytical skills, fluent in English, flexible in working hours/location, accurate and able to communicate on different levels in the organization. Working knowledge of various computer systems like Excel, Access and SAP is needed.
