Position: CNC Service Engineer
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Salary: £47k - £50k POUNDS (depending on experience)

The Role:
* My client is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Service Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge CNC machinery manufactures, providing maintenance, repair, and support to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime for their clients.
* You will be working with key aerospace companies as well as general engineering and OEM product manufacturing companies.
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC machines, including lathes, milling machines, CNC saws etc.
* Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and emergency repairs on-site.
* Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
* Install and commission new CNC machinery.
* Provide technical support and training to operators and clients.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CNC Service Engineer or in a similar role for minimum of 5 years.
* Strong knowledge of CNC machine tools, control systems Siemen's and Heidenhain preferred, having Fanuc Knowledge too would be advantageous.
* Proven electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
* Experience working in or of aerospace industry advantageous.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Willingness to travel to client sites and overseas.
* Engineering qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering advantageous.
* Apprenticeship in CNC machining/maintenance (preferred).
* Relevant visa to work in NZ (preferred).
* Valid driving licence.
