Business Development Manager - WD
What you will do
Reporting to the Area Business Manager, the Business Development Manager is responsible for leading business development activities in the region. He or she will identify and monitor new business opportunities that will allow us to expand our presence in the region.
The Business Development Manager is expected to work as a team with the Regional Sales Manager and Application Engineers in the region, to develop and execute a mid to long term strategic business plan and to ensure the voice of the customer is transferred to the TSP product organisation.
How you will do it
Analyse the existing market and identify new business opportunities.
Visit end-users and consultants to demonstrate and promote Tyco Access Control, Video Systems and integrated solutions.
Gather market and competitor information and provide feedback to TSP product and marketing organisation
Organise customer events (Technology Days, A&E events,…) and assist at Trade shows, Open days and seminars
Actively participate at industry events
What we look for
Ability to work in a team and to deal with stress
Highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills
Proven report-writing, communication and presentation skills
Ability to learn new products on medium technical level
Evidence of previous sales or business development experience within security or similar technical environment
Fluent in English and one more European language
Flexible in travelling, up to 30% of your time
