Regional Manager - Independent School

Our client is a well-regarded group of independent schools, with an excellent reputation across London, the UK and internationally. The school is part of a wider group of independent schools and has a Head Office nearby.
We are currently looking for a well organised and knowledgeable Regional Manager, for Russia, to form part of the student recruitment team. This role is an integral part of the International Student Recruitment Team and will contribute to the delivery of excellent customer service and the achievement of student recruitment objectives.
The role will require the post holder to;
Be confident speaking in Russian and ideally be based in Russia
Alternatively a candidate based in London, happy to frequently travel to
Devise and implement a recruitment strategy for assigned markets, delivering agreed recruitment targets across the group of Colleges, Schools and academic programmes.
undertake trips across Russia to recruit students for the group, incorporating agent training and school visits where appropriate.
Manage and grow network of international contacts in Russia (agents, schools, other stakeholders), ensuring CRM system is updated at all times.
Gather and share market intelligence to ensure broader understanding of recruitment landscape and to help shape future recruitment strategies
Engage with wider key influencers (e.g. embassy sponsors) through non-traditional marketing initiatives
Work closely with colleagues in the Marketing department to develop materials, website content and social media
Interview students and make enrolment decisions, in the context of the admissions criteria agreed. Maintain accurate records of interviews and collate all associated documentation on the CRM record.
Undertake conversion activity of potential students and parents through discussion and education advice.
Assist the colleges in resolving issues that involve parental or agent contact, such as debt collection, school reports or disciplinary matters.
Be conversant with UKVI sponsorship and compliance requirements
An excellent understanding and knowledge of international student recruitment market in Russia
Previous work in an international educational environment and undertaking International travel, ideally in Russia
Significant experience working in an international educational environment
Proven ability to with database and CRM systems
Excellent communication skills: oral and written Russian, with great IT skills
A comprehensive knowledge of the UK education system in the context of overseas students
Experience of Team Management
Comprehensive knowledge UK university entrance procedures
